Airport transfers - pick up and drop off. One of the friendly Nerpa team will be waiting for you on arrival in Chiang Mai airport.All transfers to and from activities during the trip.Accommodation - Our base of operations is a hand-picked 5-star sanctuary in Chiang Mai. You’ll have a private King room to yourself for our time in Chiang Mai. When we head into the mountains, and to a secluded lake as the vibe shifts: The Rural Homestay & Camping: This is the "Visceral" part. It's basic, but we provide high-end camping mattresses and premium linens. Think of it as a "digital detox" before returning to the 5-star cotton sheets of Chiang Mai. The Floating Hotel: This is a private "Takeover." It’s a proper boutique hotel with King beds, but because the property is small and exclusive to our group, room configurations vary.NOTE - Solo occupancy is our priority, but the most remote gems sometimes require a little 'expedition style' flexibility. Breakfast is included every day and all but one dinner is included, lunch on most days will be provided. Water, soft drinks, and a steady supply of local beers and spirits are on us. We have worked really hard with our local partners to put on something truly special but something that is also completely safe and respectful to local people and culture.Why is it called One Night Local if it’s an 8 day trip? When we put together the idea for One Night Local, it was a mixture of comfort and chaos. We want you to experience the best that a country has to offer, not just seeing the same monuments, performative shows and fake culture.  We know that we can go deeper whilst still doing it in style. We also drew upon memories that we have from our own travels where it’s always the unexpected, the raw, the genuinely authentic that are the most vivid and cherished memories. These moments can’t be forced and neither would you want to do it every single day. That’s why within the wider trip there will be that One Night Local, bursting the bubble of comfort and giving you a little slap around the face. Why no full itinerary?It’s the very spirit of One Night Local. We’ll let you know what is happening during your 8 days in Thailand but we want to keep you on your toes a bit. The spontaneity will fuel the enjoyment and anticipation, especially when it comes to the One Night Local. But trust us, we have your itinerary planned out to the minute.
